Hi, I'm Sophie, an accredited counsellor and trained spiritual director with an MA in Theology. I also have over 10 years’ experience in church ministry and the charity sector. I offer both one-to-one and group pastoral supervision for church and charity leaders and their teams or organisation. This can be in person at your place or work, or online.
If you or your team are feeling stressed, burnt out, or simply in need of space to pause and reflect, pastoral supervision can offer the breathing room you need. Many leaders know they want to invest in well-being but aren’t always sure how to start, this is where I can help.
Drawing on my background in counselling, spiritual direction, and frontline ministry, I provide an evidence-based, reflective, and empathetic space where you and your team can process experiences, explore challenges, and feel supported.
What is pastoral supervision?
Pastoral Supervision, sometimes called reflective practice, is a safe and confidential space to reflect on your work and its impact on you. It’s a chance to step back and consider what you do, how you do it, why you do it, and how it affects you. From there, we can begin to notice patterns, explore new perspectives, and gently consider changes you may want to make.
The aim isn’t always to find immediate solutions, though they may emerge. Instead, the focus is on becoming more aware of how your work affects you, so that you can respond intentionally rather than reactively.
